Mohammed – which translates to "the most praised one" – is one of the most common names in the world and also one of the most heavily stigmatized.  “I Am Mohammed” is an interactive photo exhibition that showcases the stories of people of all ages, genders and nationalities that bear the name.

The pop-up exhibit features photographs of each Mohammed, accompanied by a short description of who they are an audio recording detailing their stories. Through their stories, the exhibit aims to subvert stereotypes and capture and reframe what it means to be Muslim in today’s world.
